Australian Institute of Music- 21 November Music Theatre Audition Day
Our open-call audition day offers a collaborative and experience-based environment, allowing applicants to work with faculty and get a sense of what student life is like at AIM. Across the course of the day, prospective students will participate in a series of classes in addition to a 1:1 interview/audition. THE AUDITION PROCESS CONSISTS OF: • Singing: Students will be assessed on vocal technique and development potential in addition to general musicality. Two contrasting pieces are required to be performed. All sheet music in the correct keys should be supplied by the prospective student. • Acting: Students will be required to perform a prepared monologue (2-3 mins) of their choosing in addition to general acting instruction on the day, assessing skill level and potential for development. • Dancing: Students will be assessed on their technical abilities, approach to dance/movement and potential for development. Comfortable clothing that allows you to move well is encouraged. Chorus heels/dance shoes are preferred, if not available any active shoe is acceptable. Pen and paper may be useful, but not essential.

This 4-day camp is a pathway to engage and inform Year 9 and 10 students about the opportunities and benefits of pursuing a career in pharmacy.
This program has the potential to build capacity of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples ready to enter their future profession of pharmacy - who may in turn make this important health service more accessible to Australia’s First Nations people.
The students will be recruited from urban, regional and remote NSW communities and will be transported to and from the university campus for the camp. All accommodation, food and materials will be provided.
Applications must be submitted by 14th November 2025.

Financial Support for Apprentices - Trade Support Loan A Trade Support Loan is an interest free loan to help you purchase trade tools and supplies while being an apprentice. You can borrow up to $24,492 (2023-2024), which is paid in monthly instalments. You will not have to repay your loan until you are earning an income above the minimum repayment threshold ($51,550 for 2023-24). Once you complete your apprenticeship, you will receive a 20% discount on your loan amount.
