AIE's Workshop Days are a great opportunity for students in Years 10, 11, and 12 to learn about the local and international game development, 3D animation, and visual effects industries. Students will get the opportunity to learn about the different pathways to get into the industry and what should be in a portfolio and will be able to get creative in practical workshops using industry-standard 3D animation and game development tools. The sessions are run by industry professionals who have worked on blockbuster games and films. Everything is provided for you to participate in the hands-on workshops, and you will be using the same software that is used in the industry.

Applications are now open for the 2027 CSPD Teacher Scholarship Program
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is pleased to share that the 2027 CSPD Teacher Scholarship Program is now open for applications. If you’ve just graduated from Year 12 and are planning to start a primary or secondary teaching degree at an Australian university in 2027, the CSPD Teacher Scholarship Program could be the perfect next step in your career journey. This program is designed to support you as you begin your studies and transition into an exciting career in education within our CSPD schools.
As a CSPD Teacher Scholarship holder, you’ll receive:
$5,000 per year to support your full-time university studies
A brand-new laptop when you begin your degree
Paid employment opportunities in CSPD schools while you study
Mentoring, professional development, and formation sessions to help you grow
Priority pathways to employment as a CSPD teacher after graduation
We will offer 30 scholarships in 2027, targeted at specific areas of teaching specialisation which have been identified as of most need across CSPD:
Technological and Applied Studies (TAS)
Religious Education (RE)
Mathematics
Science
Primary Education students intending to obtain Religious Education (RE) Accreditation
As part of the application process, an endorsement from your school will be required to determine your eligibility for placement in the program. You will therefore be asked to provide a professional reference, such as your Principal. The CSPD Early Talent Team will contact your nominated referee directly to verify and confirm your application.
Students who progress through this stage will then be invited to an interview with CSPD as part of the selection process. Students will be advised of the outcome of their application by Monday, 21 December 2026.
To apply, you will need to submit an application form, which will include:
Your resume
The name of a professional referee from your school (school principal, assistant principal, or teacher)
Your ATAR results.
