Students in Years 7-10 have been issued their ID Cards either this year (Year 7 and new students) or from 2025 photo day.
These cards will provide:
Arrival Tracking: The cards are used to scan in for late arrivals, streamlining the sign-in process
NESA numbers: included for senior students.
Library and Resource Access: They function as library cards for borrowing resources by using the barcode.
At the office, scan your card with the card reader.
Provide an explanation for lateness
Head to class, you’re all signed in!
Parents/carers are required to call prior to arrival to ensure student is ready for collection.
Student will be signed out at the front office.
If students arrive without an ID card, they must sign in at the office and explain lateness.
If students is required to order a replacement ID card, this can completed via Qkr! and costs $10.00 for a replacement.
Log In: Sign in to your Qkr! account using your unique username and password.
Under Payments: select Replacement ID Card
Order & Pay: process payment as per instructions.
Processing: Once the order is placed.
Arrival: The new card will be ready at the school office for the student to collect.
Existing Photo: The new photo will use the most recent photo on file for the new card.
Students in Years 11 & 12 have been issued with a new Compass ID Card which is valid for 2 years (until the end of their schooling at StJPII.
These cards will provide:
Instant Attendance Tracking: The cards are used to "tap in and out" for late arrivals or early departures, streamlining the sign-in/out process
NESA numbers: included for senior students.
Library and Resource Access: They function as library cards for borrowing resources by using the barcode.
Tap Your Card: Hold your Compass ID card against the card reader on the back of the Kiosk.
Select "Arrival": Tap the Arrival or Check-In button on the screen.
Provide a Reason: Select the reason for being late

Tap Your Card: Hold your Compass ID card against the card reader on the back of the Kiosk.
Select "Departure": Tap the Arrival or Check-In button on the screen.
Provide a Reason: Select the reason for being late (e.g., Flex/Study, TAFE course).
If students arrive or depart without an ID card, they must:
Sign in manually at the kiosk/reception desk.
Report to the Stage office for a discussion (pending staff availability).
If students are required to order a replacement Compass Identity card, this can be done either by the student via their Compass portal, or by their parent in the parent portal.
Log In: Sign in to your Compass Parent Portal using your unique username and password.
Open Tools: Click on the Cog icon (Tools menu) in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Select Card Menu: Click on "My CompassIdentity Card"
4. Initiate Order: Click the link that says "Click here to order a new CompassIdentity card.
5. Payment: Enter your credit/debit card details. A replacement card generally costs approximately $15.
7. Confirm: Review the details and click "Order Now" to finalise the request.
Processing: Once the order is placed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded due to its customised nature.
Arrival: The new card is delivered directly to the school office for the student to collect.
Existing Photo: The system will automatically use the most recent photo on file for the new card.
Users are able to activate their own ID cards by:
Clicking on the cog menu icon
Selecting CompassIdentity Card.
On this page you will see the option to activate the new card.
This will then prompt you to enter the details of the new card.
Log in to your Compass account via a web browser.
Click the Cog icon (top right) and select My CompassIdentity Card.
Look for the Order History section at the bottom of the page.
Check the Status column:
Pending: The order is received but not yet printed.
In Production: The card is currently being manufactured.
Shipped/Delivered: The card has been sent to the school.
Security: If a card is stolen, report it to the school immediately to prevent unauthorised use of your Compass Wallet funds.
Interim Solutions: While waiting for the new card (which can take a few days to arrive), students can still check in or out at the kiosk by manually typing their name.
