Through SRS, universities can make offers to students based on criteria other than the ATAR, including their Year 11 results and their school’s recommendation.

That's why NIE has developed the "Future Doctors Australia" program. This engaging and high-impact 4-day program provides young people with a unique opportunity to gain medical work experience in a safe and structured environment. Participants will have the opportunity to spend time with current junior and senior medical students. They will also have the rare opportunity to spend time with more senior clinicians and various medical specialists. You will learn about clinical specialists' relevant fields of work, ask them questions, and learn some hands-on skills from them.

They are notified by pager or mobile phone and can balance other work, study and family commitments while also protecting and supporting their local community. Our on-call firefighters are trained to: • prevent and reduce the risk of fire and potential loss to life and property • work closely with the local community to increase fire safety awareness and promote fire prevention • undertake all manner of rescue • deal with hazardous material incidents • assist other agencies with emergency medical responses and severe weather-related events.

NIDA Scholarships Applications Open Soon
NIDA offers a range of scholarships to support students in attending NIDA, helping to cover student living expenses. Government financial support is also available to some NIDA students. Eligible students entering their first, second or third year in a full-time Higher Education course (Bachelor/Master of Fine Arts) can apply for a scholarship at the beginning of the academic year. To apply for scholarships at NIDA, you need to first submit your course application form(s) to study with us. Once they are completed, you can also submit your scholarship application form. There is one form, which is used for all scholarships. After your audition or interview, if you are offered a place at NIDA, we will then assess your scholarship application and be in touch.
